Can anyone help me out of a hole i've got into. I have a database
with a single form. The form is set to modal and popup, and the only
way out is to use an Exit button on the form. its onclick method
obeys Application.Quit so that control is not returned to access
itself.
Unfortunately I also used tools>startup to go striaght to this form on
opening the database.
This combination means that I can no longer get to design mode for the
database. Is there any way that I can patch the .mdb file to remove
the automatic entry to the form on startup?
Thanks for any ideas.

Hold the shift key while opening the file. You can probably also right-click
the modal form and go to design view. Once there the form will no longer be
modal and you should be able to do anythign you want.
