The most recent version of Access of which I am aware that was addressed by
free password recovery software was Access 97 and those recovery packages do
not work on later versions. I fear you have learned an "object lesson" about
either not using passwords or keeping very careful track of the passwords
you do use.
Just for the information of others, many of us maintain an unsecured
development copy of every database and rely on the security of our
development environment to protect it; then, we secure a "deployment copy"
of the database only when it is ready to be released to the users. (And,
many of us learned the wisdom of doing so the same way that you are
learning -- bitter experience.)
