Gilles -
You've asked your question in the wrong newsgroup, I'm afraid. This one
is devoted to questions about Microsoft Access, the database program. I
think you'd do better to post your question in one of the groups devoted
to your operating system.
I did have a quick search online for your error message, and I found
this article in the Microsoft KnowledgeBase
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;821690
Generic Host Process Error Message and a Flashlight Icon Appear
It may or may not be relevant to your situation, but it suggests that
the problem may be related to the device driver for a printer or
scanner. The article mentions an old HP printer or scanner driver, but
I'm not convinced it's confined just to those HP drivers. If you have a
printer or scanner, or both, connected to your computer, see if the
problem goes away if you turn off the computer and the printer and/or
scanner, disconnect the device(s), and restart the computer. If the
problem goes away, you may need to contact the device manufacturer for
replacement device drivers.
That's all I can offer, and it may or may not be relevant to your
problem. As I said, you'd have better luck asking in a suitable
newsgroup.
Good luck!
