As a developer, I find multiple monitors invaluable. When I went to the
Advisor DevCon last year, I talked to several of the "seasoned pros" and was
surprised at how many of them work with single monitor systems. The company
I work for has dual monitor setups for all of our developers and almost all
of our operations folks.
I got so used to this setup, that I bought a second monitor for home use
(small business) and I easily saved the cost of a monitor during the two
months I had my second monitor. The ability to step through code on one
monitor and watch the app running on the other is extremely useful and time
saving.
The dual monitors allows our operators to have multiple applications open at
a single time, and have visibility of them, rather than one sitting behind
the other on a monitor.
I have developed a number of apps for the company, some of which are
designed for multiple forms to be open at once. I never have figured out how
to actually open forms to one screen or the other, but when the users open
the forms, they drag them to where they want them, on which ever monitor they
prefer.

You appear to have settled on a solution ("how" is "moving information from.
1 screen to another"). If you'll describe a bit more about "what" and "why"
(what underlying business need are you attempting to solve by moving info
around?), the newsgroup's readers may be able to offer alternate
appproaches, maybe cheaper than multiple monitors...

Hello:
I was wondering if it is possible to run 1 database with 3 monitors in
such a way that each monitor has a form displayed. I want to ask BEFORE
we buy additional hardware if this is possible. The plan is pretty much
moving information from 1 screen to another. This will be used for
dispatching and the less scrolling and clicks the quicker things would go.
I guess we could run 3 different databases with linked tables and run each
in a different monitor ( I think ), but it would be easier to do all under
1 roof.
Any information and/or advise would great be appreciated.
