Um ... on their site they say, "Latest Windows 2003 look and feel." That
doesn't give me confidence they paid close attention to the Microsoft
applications they were copying the functionality of. Especially when their
database application is included in their set of applications for $59.99.
For that price I don't think they put in nearly as much time and effort in
developing their database application as Microsoft did.
So... he just gets OpenOffice. Anyway, there seems to be a trial
period for Ability in the latest version. I just downloaded it and it
works fine with Microsoft Words docs - and can one-click export them
as pdf files, something which OpenOffice also does but I don't believe
is present in Word.
