I'm not sure about that, Rick.
I just tested Access 97 on my machine that's never had any other version of
Word on it than Word 2003, and Spell Check worked fine.
I'm wondering whether Kobe installed Office, or simply Access. I don't
believe that installing only Access installs the Proofing tools.
