I seem to remember that access97 has problems on windows boxes with more
then 1 gig of ram.
(after all, that product came out when the standard pc was 60mhz pc, with 16
megs of ram!!!). It would un-imagine that the designers figured on pc's with
3 gi hz processors, and 1 gig of ram!
However, if you install the office sr2b patch, then the out of memory goes
away.
So, try downloading and installing the sr1 (which is usually
installed..check your cd), and install sr2b
You should also install the update to jet, in your case jetsp35sp3.exe.
Do the above...and that 4 versions old of office should run just fine!
