Hyperlink to Word Bookmark error

I have a form which has a control bound to a hyperlink
field in a table. I want to be able to click on the
hyperlink and have it open a word document to a bookmark.
I can select the file for the hyperlink okay and it opens
word okay to the correct file, but when I try to select a
bookmark using the hyperlink editor, I get the error
message:
"The ADP file is not in the correct format for a Microsoft
Access Project"
Why can't I select a bookmark?
