Hi All
I am using Access 2000 and MS Word 2003
I have a database where I store information in Memo fields and then
during a comlplex report generation process it writes information to a
word document.
My client now wants to add formatting (bullets and hyperlinks etc.) to
some of the text stored in the memo field in the access database.
I can go into word and edit the text as needed, save as RTF and copy
and paste that information back into my access database. I do not
have a need to actually edit the RTF inside of my access database - I
am cofident that what I copy and paste from my RTF editori (notepad)
that I can get the correct RTF into the database
My question is how can I get that RTF back in to word during my report
process - currently I simply read the text from the field and drop it
into word in the correct place as needed - I would like to be able to
do something similar with Rich Text so that the formatting gets put
into word as well
Any thoughts on this please let me know
Thanks for your assistance
Jeff
