Highlight field

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

I have created a multi-user database with a front end and back end to keep
track of our scheduling list for a driving school. We formerly used excel
with conditional formatting set to highlight the students birthdate field if
the student was above 16 years old. Is there a way I can do the same thing
with access?
