Serious problem with access !

Hi all.

I do not really know which group to post that to .....
When I am in vba window and I type a control's name and set a '.' after it
so far it always came up with some properties etc ....
I don't know what happend or what the reason could be but since a few days -
sometimes - after a dot that dropdown is shown for a part of a second only
and I cannot choose anything from it
(options - editor - checked all)
in addition, sometimes when I type eg a space after a second the space is
taken away and I am at the end of last expression

oh no !!! I work on access 2k SP6 on w2k

please any help or idea as what to do is highly appreciated
