For input of new record prompt user with previous record's fields

During data entry if one previous record's field is chosen why not prompt
with other selected fields of that same record. I've used a list box with
multiple fields and repeat the same critical field below, plain text box,
which is automatically filled when the list box record is chosen since that
field is bound. But how do I get the other selected fields to be filled in
as prompts for that record's other fields.
