RE: Saving Form Changes Causes Error or Locks Up

I would certainly start by making sure you have loaded all hotfixes and and
the latest service packs. For Access 2003, service pack 3 and all the
hotfixes solve a lot of those kinds of problems.

In my database, there are some forms (but not all of them) that are giving me
a peculiar problem. When I make changes to them and try to save the changes,
they either lock up my computer or generate one of those unhelpful "Access
has caused a problem and needs to close" messages. The forms were created by
someone else, but I have admin privileges for them. I tried importing them
into a new database so that I would be the owner, but that didn't help.
Here's the peculiar part: They do not cause this problem on his computer.
It's not a username thing, because I tried logging in on my computer with his
username (we have a workgroup of which I am administrator) and still had the
same problem. Does this mean I'm going to have to go through the hassle of
having IT uninstall Access and reinstall it on my computer?
