Your question would be better answered in a Word newsgroup which is more
appropriate to your problem. This newsgroup is dedicated to the Microsoft
Access database product. The Microsoft website is not all that clear and may
have misdirected you.

I use a number field throughout a Word document. I move from field to field
by tabbing. Each document has a case number which I enter in a field at
the
beginning of the document. How would I make that case number
automatically
copy to other number fields within the document so I don't have to retype
it
each time?
