Rich Text Box in Form does not shrink!

I am getting the feeling Microsoft has not finished coding support for Rich
Text formats with their Text Box controls. This is the second issue I have
posted surrounding the (I once thought) helpful Rich Text format setting.

My new problem. In a form built to grow and shrink, the Text Box with Null
or empty string will not shrink if formatted for Rich Text. The same Text
Box shrinks to nothing when I switch to Plain Text, so don't start giving me
advice on how to use grow and shrink. I got that part right.

Even if I pre-size the Text Box to a nothing height, the Text Box will grow
to the current text height when formatted for Rich Text and empty.

Anyone find a workaround for this?

I have a third issue, too. I am starting to think this is all a mean joke.
Finally giving us a Rich Text format but then falling short of supporting it
correctly. Do you know that Access insert <DIV></DIV> around Rich Text memo
entries? This means if you concant a Rich Text memo with something else you
get a "free" line break between! I will now have to include my own code to
strip <DIV> tags out. What is wrong with MS that they cannot seem to ever
provide a solid product?

Sorry. Ranting. I really need the shrinking to work first. Otherwise I am
back to coding whole forms.

Phil.
