She has a Notebook with a software that follow al the things she does.

The software reads the word where the cursor is, or read the message box
text, or the propertie where the cursor is and "tells" her through a
headphone.

I could see her working very fast, better than some non-blind students
(there were another 12 students).

The software allows her to map some toolbar icon and then she can use it.

But this didn't work with the Tool Box in the form design mode.

I was applying what we call an Advanced Access Course, that presents Action
Queries, SQL queries, Macros, Security (it was Access 2003), Menu and Tool
Bar customization, Controle Menu Form and VBA introduction.

She could follow all the themes, except Menu and Tool Bar customization, for
the reason I've already explained.

She told me that she just uses queries in her activities in the office.

Hi Joe,

I admire you for having the kind of patience you must possess. In all
honestly, I do not think it is possible for a blind person to design a
form in Access from scratch (they could probably use a form wizard) --
but then I have no idea what kind of equipment you have to enable her to
"see"

The best thing I can think to do is to create a form with each type of
control that she can switch to -- and select what she wants, then copy and
paste ... but that is a tall order for a beginner! She would need to
understand the properties and how to change them.

Can you describe the special equipment that she has to help her?

not that I know of ... unless you have all control types on another form
you can switch to and copy/paste ... but why do you want to do this?
