.ico problems

Hi,
I am having some problems with using .ico files in buttons. I am running 2007
and the max resolution and colour depth I can seem to get is 32 x 32 and 16
colours. Now the resolution isn't a major problem, its the colour. I
understand that the .ico is 'converted' to a bmp to be viewed in Access, so
it should be able to handle at least 256 colours (and preferably high colour)?


Any ideas on this?
