Datasheet subforms.....
Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance
Hi Folks,
I have a little database of customers, products, orders, and
order_products.
Although I probably wont end up importing the 6 different product
excel files that I get into the database daily, because its just too
hard for me, and they all have different fields etc etc.... but i
digress.
What I essentially want to do is be able to keep a liist of my
customers and the work (different jobs) I do for them.
I have the customer table and customer entry form sorted.
What I am struggling with is the order form. As I understand it I
should have a form with a subform on it. I have been doing this by
creating a query and dragging that onto the form, but is there a
easier way?
The subform will be all the items on the order, plus a few fields
which need to be calculated like profit (RRP-mybuy).
How do I do this calculated field?
These items wont be bound to anything since there is nothing in the
products database, but as I add items to the order it may as well
update the database.
Hope this all makes sense?
I need some help.
Cheers
