Data Access Pages use the browser as an interface, use vbscript or
javascript rather than VBA, and are deprecated in the next version of
Access -- for all these reasons, I think DAPs are not an appropriate
alternative for what you want to do.

I am not a fan of subdatasheets, so I wouldn't hazard a guess as to how you
would use them. If you had asked the "reverse," more than likely I would
have recommended multiple Subforms (the approach you seem to have
abandoned).

I am redesigning a form that would require 2 subdata*** levels relating
to
the main form. The original form had 2 separate subforms, but my thought

that it may be easier for users to navigate by expanding the levels that
they
need to drill down to. In the Access Help Topics, it states 2 things that
concern me: Access only allows one subdata*** in a form & When opening
a
form with a subdata***, the subdata*** opens expanded.

It would be much better if 2 levels of subdatasheets were allowed and when
the form was opened, nothing was expanded, but I don't know if there are
any
ways around these "rulles". It got me thinking that maybe a Data Access
Page
would serve me better in this application, but I have never created one,
and
am unsure how data can be editted in them.

I'm looking for any opinions or suggestions on how I should approach this.
