Products that qualify for Office 2003 upgrades are listed at
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=832288
For Office 2003 Standard Edition, that'll take you to
http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/howtobuy/standard.mspx, where you
can see that yes, Office 97 Professional Edition qualifies for the upgrade
edition.
I'm afraid I don't know the answer to your first question.

These are both purchasing questions:
1. Does MS offer special pricing for disabled people?
2. If no to the first question-As a former business owner (MS Partner and
developer) I have a copy of "Office 97 Professional Edition" (won it in a
contest (it was free)). Can I use it to upgrade to "Office 2003 Standard
Edition?"
