Quite a few of us do. With one exception, though, we don't solicit
business in the newsgroups.
There are numerous websites for posting job offers - Monster.com for
instance - or you could post a (munged, to keep spammers from getting
it) email address asking for help. Check out respondants (here on the
newsgroups is probably a good choice, use http://groups.google.com
advanced search to find their previous posting if you aren't familiar
with them).
