Not sure if I understand your question ...
Barcodes are nothing more than strange looking fonts.
A scanner will recognize the font characters.
If using a keyboard wedge between the scanner and the machine .. each
barcode character will be converted a keystoke and entered into the control
that has the current focus when the scanner is triggered as if they were
typed in on the keyboard ...
