Invalid Operation and Access shut down

I have a form with three subforms - which has worked in the past. Now when I
try to go from subform to another, an Invalid Operation message appears with
only an OK and Help button. When OK is clicked, the ...must close down ...
message appears.
Has anyone come across this error in any context?
