Did the databases have Access Security applied? If so, they need to use the
same Workgroup (*.mdw) file they were using before the upgrade. This can be
specified on the command line using a shortcut to the database, but if it
was done this way the upgrade should be transparent. So, I suspect that the
Workgroup Administrator had been used to join them to the workgroup as their
default. To do this, go to Tools|Security|Workgroup Administrator, click
Join and browse for the appropriate *.mdw file.
