Form memo control won't grow

Using Access 2000, with a continuous form, I have two memo boxes in a
subform set so they can grow. In a report this makes the box grow when text
has to wrap, and saves space when it doesn't.

I can't get the boxes in the form to grow. I've found all the properties I
can for setting "can grow" to yes, and still it won't.

Any suggestions?
