Navigation buttons creating blank records

Hi everyone

Apologies if this topic has aldready been covered, but I've been looking
online for a solution all day and am running out of time.

I have inherited a database that I think was converted from 97 to 2000.
There is a form which is filled in for fault reporting. The problem I have
is that when you use the navigation buttons (whether you use the form ones,
or make your own) it is creating blank records in the table. This can range
from 1 record up to 50 in one go!

I have seen various posts online reporting this so I presume it is a known
bug, but couldn't find any replies/solutions.

I'd be grateful for any help you could provide.
