Import multiple transactions on CSV to Access

Hello,
I am in the process of writing recommandations for next year and was
wondering if this is something I can put on my "wish list". Let me
explain: we have this centralized inventory management database.
Everytime we do a transaction we have to include the "ship to"
location and "ship from" location. then, the user goes on the "details
tab" and can input all the items with the quantities. To sum up, on
transaction has one ship to and ship from location but has multiple
items.
Currently, we have the csv upload capability for the items only. If I
enter the Ship from and ship to on the main tab, when I go to the
details tab I can "upload from csv". So all the items on the csv will
be uploaded to the "details" window. The issue is that right now the
only information we can upload from the csv is the item ID and the
qty.
We recently introduced the barcode technology. The reader can produce
a csv report that shows all the locations, etc. but the issue is that
we can only upload the items and quantities, therefore I have to
create one CSV file for each location so I can upload them which
doesn't make any sense as it is too time consuming.
So my question is: is it possible to create a form, or find a way, to
import a csv file with all the information, and from there generate
many "shipping" transactions in access?
Thanks in advance,
Jonathan
