Export to Ms Project or Ms Access

Hi I have an Ms Database and Ms Project that stores information about
projects. The projects can be approved or non approved. Each project have a
project number, start date, finish date, design hours, management hours and
issues hours. There are two resource type - ENG1 and ENG2
So the Gantt Chart structure is like this

ENG1
--------APPROVED
---------------------PROJECT NUMBER
------------------------------------------- DESIGN
------------------------------------------ MANAGEMENT
------------------------------------------ ISSUES
--------NON APPROVED
---------------------PROJECT NUMBER
------------------------------------------- DESIGN
------------------------------------------ MANAGEMENT
------------------------------------------ ISSUES

Same for ENG2.

My problem is i have to update the database and the gantt chart, so there is
a duplication. The gantt chart is used to produce the resource graphs for
ENG1 and ENG2. How can i export the data from my database to match the fields
in the gantt chart or vice versa. Cheers
