dde in access 2007

Just converted to Office 2007 & now mail merge does not work ( Access >>
Word ) because DDE export is not there for 2007.
What do I need to do/add/change to get mail merge to work again?
I cannot get a new merge to work. Nothing. What has been forgotten?
