Access 2000 report subtotals not exporting to Excel

When I use either "Export" or "Analyze with Excel" to
export a report with grouping and subtotals to Excel, the
group footer and it's subtotals does not get included in
the Excel file.

This worked with Access 97 and works on Access 2002 but
does not work on Access 2000. I have searched but cannot
find this problem elsewhere. I have used the same report
on all Access versions, have made it a very simple report,
etc. but it appears that Access 2000 exports with no group
footer row.

Has anyone else seen this? I need a subtotal as per the
report groupings to be automatically generated in the
Excel file which is created by the export.

Thanks and regards
C.
