Thanks Aaron! I am familiar with SQL Server, since I developed a VB6
database client application few years ago. One last question thought: If I
migrate to a SQL server, how can I program the PDA to access a SQL server?
What kind of technology or language development tool do I have to use? I
just need a little kick to the right track, 'cuz I'm lost. Thanks!

Hi all! Not long ago I wrote an Access database to maintain inventoryHe
operations in a tiny warehouse of a friend of mine. Now he has expressed
some interest in having a PDA (wireless with built-in scanner) to read
the
barcode of an item and bring its details on the PDA screen.
It sounds easy (I guess) but I do not how to proceed from this point on.
only wants one PDA, but I'm not familiar with the types of PDAs, theirqueries
operating systems, and how to program Access or an application that
the MDB file on the computer where the database resides.
Can anybody put me in the right track, I'm so lost. I appreciate it.
