Re: Access in wireless PDA scanner

Access doesn't work with mobile devices

you need to use SQL Server

Hi all! Not long ago I wrote an Access database to maintain inventory
operations in a tiny warehouse of a friend of mine. Now he has expressed
some interest in having a PDA (wireless with built-in scanner) to read the
barcode of an item and bring its details on the PDA screen.

It sounds easy (I guess) but I do not how to proceed from this point on.
He
only wants one PDA, but I'm not familiar with the types of PDAs, their
operating systems, and how to program Access or an application that
queries
the MDB file on the computer where the database resides.

Can anybody put me in the right track, I'm so lost. I appreciate it.
