That is the source of your problem; it is also a Very Bad Idea, and
will cause corruption, bad performance, database bloating, and no end
of other trouble.

Finish the job. The whole POINT of splitting is to give each user
their own copy of the frontend. See Alex's links for ways to ease this
chore.
