Sorry to ***-in again, Kathy, since you didn't especially like my previous
replies.
I think the problem is this. Many (at a guess most) developers have discarded
the PDW because it is crap, instead they use 3rd party installers. That means
that many or most experienced developers, can no longer answer such questions
about PDW, for the simple reason that they no longer use it.
I use PDW (but not the 2003 one), and several posters have said that they do
too. But "several" is not many answerers. Sometimes Microsoft answers here,
but not often.
I have noticed that this newsgroup, whilst specialised, has gone rather quiet
in recent years compared with previously. Maybe everyone went to sagekey or
installer2go, I don't really know.
Perhaps you might like to try in a completely different and very active forum,
http://www.deja.com/[ST_rn=fs]/group/comp.databases.ms-access
I don't follow it often, but I can tell you there are experts there who don't
post here. I am not very happy to say that this newsgroup didn't seem to
provide you with an answer, in a reasonable time. There is no doubt it was,
amongst several, the correct newsgroup. Maybe I will prompt someone else to
respond, I don't know and I wish I did.
HTH
Chris
