Thanks Albert for your reply. That helped me decide to go
ahead an program on the XP machine. I had to move the
packaging to the Access 2002 and XP machine when my users
with XP suddenly started having problems with installation
from the packaging done in Access 2000 on the 98 machine.
All of my users with 98 machines have had no problems with
installing and running the new package. All of the
packages run using runtime. My concern was that by
doing the actual programming on the XP machine (not just
the packaging), I might pull something into the program
from XP that my users with 98 won't have. I guess I'll go
ahead and develop on the XP machine and be careful about
what I'm adding to program, and test it well on 98
machines once it's packaged. Carol
