Hidden form shows up on taskbar after changing startup properties

I'm using Access 2003.
I have a form which I open from my switchboard and keep hidden while the
application is running. I finally got around to creating an icon to use for
my app and specified it in the startup properties. I checked the box under
the icon setting which tells access to use the icon for forms and reports.
After I've done that, when I open my app, the hidden form is still hidden
but there is now a button on the taskbar for that form and when I click on
it the hidden form becomes visible.
I found that I can prevent this behavior by changing an option in Access
which tells Access to display windows on taskbar but that keeps all forms
and reports from having buttons on the taskbar. I do not want to do that. I
could also stop using my icon on my forms and reports which fixes the
problem but then my beautiful icon doesn't get the exposure it deserves.
Is anyone familiar with this behavior? Is there a work around?
