While Chris' comments may be viewed as somewhat inflammatory, there ARE
numerous problems with the 2003 PDW (which I and others brought up during
beta). PDW is still very lame and unusable except for the most basic
install. Nevetheless, the only work around I can think of for Ethan's
situation is to run a post install process to install the shortcuts as
desired. There is a white paper on web site below under Extras that
concerns installation of Access applications. VBScript that may be useful in
the situation described is also provided with the paper.
