Pasting

Wow. Who would have thought copying from one table to another would have
been so difficult! This is horribly frustrating. All I am trying to do is
paste from one table to another. The format is exactly the same. I
highlight the column select copy in one table and go to the other table where
I want to add the data and select Paste Apend. I either get 'The value you
entered isn't valid for this field' or it pastes the data starting at the end
of the table.

Any help would be appreciated and would spare the life of my laptop :D

Thanks
.
