Access 2007 locking in multiuser mode on LAN with Vista

I have an access 2007 FE on Vista laptops, sharing a BE on Vista Desktop over
LAN. With 2003 on XP it worked fine simply sharing the file. It works fine
1 at a time. It locks up when the second user attempts to share. If the
first exits the application the second can then continue. Other file sharing
works fine. I enabled record locking - edited record. Any other ideas would
be very welcome.
