Sync 2 drop down lists Access 2003

I am having trouble with making the selections in a second drop down list on
a DAP contingent upon the results of a prior drop down list. I tried to
follow this example
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;232592 but it
appears written for Access 2000 and I cannot get it to work for Access 2003
(I get tripped up specifically on step 19). Does anyone have a pointer to
some instructions or an example to synchronize DAP drop down lists that is
relevant to Access 2003?
