Saving over network drive?

I have a question regarding saving an access data page that is shared over a
network drive. I have two computers. When I work on computer 1 and update
information on my data access page the information will save on this
computer. When I open the same database from the same network drive the
information that saved on computer 1 doesnt show up on computer 2 and vice
versa. I have done a few test to make sure that my permissions and network
drive is mapped correctly by editing excel and word documents, and they both
save correctly on the drive. Is there a setting or something that I need to
enable to be able for my data access pages to save also? Thanks in advance.
