Can I run the Access 2003 upsizing wizard to convert from Access to SQL from my own workstation ( thereby converting a locally stored copy of the
database), or does it have to be run on the web server that SQL is installed
on (and the Access database is also stored)? We have MS SQL Express Edition
on the server.
We do not have a copy of Access installed on the web server, even though the
web server can query and write to the Access databases stored on it through
IIS. I can't get the wizard started on my workstation, possibly because it
is asking for a DSN, which is defined on the web server and not my
workstation. I defined one on the workstation anyway, but still no luck.
