We have just done this at our company - taking Access 97
applications with a SQL Server 6.5 backend to Access 2002
and our W98 clients to WXP.

The only issues we have is that Access 2002 freezes
periodically with no warning (and not with any pattern)
and the only way to get out of it is Ctrl-Alt-Del. When
this happens the network connections are all open and
every other application is fine except for access!

Also - you cannot be in Access 2002 and Microsoft Money
at the same time as one or other will hang.

Plus there is often problems where Access cannot print a
report (it periodically thinks there are no printers
installed and so you cannot print or design reports).

A bit of a headache at present but apart from that it
works 80% of the time.
