Re: ADP Check Boxes not deselecting

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

There's a known bug in SP3 with SQL Server bit columns. Search Microsoft's
site for the hotfix.

Hi
This is driving me mad, I'm hoping some one can help me. I have several
forms, each of which contain check boxes. The check boxes are based upon
SQL fields which have a bit data type.
Works fine on 95% of pcs. However, there are a few with a strange problem.
For certain users, ticking the box works fine. However, they cannot then
untick the box. If they exit the form, and then open the form again, the
box can be unticked. But only one box - must exit the form and then go
back in to untick another box.
So its like the record gets locked, then Save on the exit unlocks it. All
the effected PCs have the full Access 2003, on service pack 3.
Any ideas?
Thanks
