i disagree with this:
· Engine-level referential integrity and data validation. Microsoft
Jet has built-in support for primary and foreign keys,
database-specific rules, and cascading updates and deletes. This means
that a developer is freed from having to create rules using procedural
code to implement data integrity. Also, the engine itself consistently
enforces these rules, so they are available to all application
programs.
RI is not practical in MDB in any way shape or form.
and for the record; SQL Server also 'means that a developer is freed
from having to create rules using procedural code to implement data
integrity'

I am just learning SQL server - I'm going through these videos from a
company
called Learn Key - 18 videos - it's the most , comprehensive, educational,
interactive, user friendly learning materials I've ever seen. A-nyway,
what
is the big advantage with SQL server ? MS Access alone has always met my
needs, but everyone makes such a big deal about SQL server. I'm not
trying
to be negative, I really want to know.
Any input would be greatly appreciated - SQL server dba's are in HUGE
demand -
