i have an issue using access 2000 ADP project as an interface with SQL
2000. I cannot lock the record when opening a form and if two users
edit the same data i get a write conflict with the message "This
record has been edited by another user since you started editing
it....." with the option to save, discard or copy the changes.
I have trawled MS knowledge base etc with no result.
How can i turn off the message and trap the error. I cannot get the
error to trap, someone told me that it should generate error 3260 but
none of these seem to occur. On form_error i get err.number 0 but
still the write conflict message.
Any suggestions, this is really frustrating.
Thanks
